Executive Onboarding Coaching

Those who benefit from executive onboarding coaching are individuals transitioning into new roles. This includes:

Executive Coaching

As an executive coach for individuals, Ceiba creates the “aha” moments of insight about the impact you have as a leader that work both for and against you. The intent is to find inspiration to try something new and different in order to be effective. Executive Coaching clients come to Ceiba when they:

  • Want to hit the ground running in a new role or stretch assignment

  • Have trouble making clear decisions

  • Need to lead their team through wide-scale changes

  • Have received low employee engagement scores and don’t know how to address the issue

  • Are struggling to influence peers and key stakeholders

  • Are missing the experience of a team that delivers the results expected of them

  • Imagine what life might hold next for them, beyond their current role

Coaching programs are personalized to each situation and needs, and typically engage the leader’s boss as well. Nearly all coaching programs are at least six months in duration, and most are typically 9-12 months long. The leaders we work with want to create lasting change. They are willing to look below the surface and respond to insights with new practices and experiments to help them grow. 

After goals are clear, the tools at our disposal range from traditional (based on behavioral psychology), to experiential (corporate experiences of how adults learn best), to unconventional (accessing the beauty of nature to help leaders understand the nature within). 

Team Coaching

Ceiba team coaching clients come to us when the team:

  • Needs to influence and lead through wide-scale changes

  • Is working toward a significant growth strategy or strategic business result

  • Is newly formed, restructured, expanded, contracted, or has a new leader

  • Has received low employee engagement scores and doesn’t know how to address the issues

  • Has low trust with each other

  • Is struggling with conflicts, defensiveness, finger pointing, or blaming

  • Needs to work more collaboratively within the team or across other functions

  • Wants to create a shared vision, mission and values for their work

As your team’s coach, we will focus on individual and collective leadership development while we address the pressing business need. This work is highly customized, based on the needs that emerge. 

Facilitation

Does your leadership, culture, team, or strategy feel like it is no longer aligned to the vision, or is not delivering the results you are trying to achieve? Clients come to Ceiba for consulting and facilitation to:

  • Refresh their vision, mission, values

  • Create a 3-5 year strategic plan or growth strategy

  • Guide culture change and/or other complex organizational changes

The most critical component of a highly effective team is having a meaningful and compelling plan with accountability mechanisms built in to create collaborative conversations to forward that plan.  The work can’t rest on any one leader’s shoulder, but on the shoulders of the system.  We will engage the system, build capacity and skills, as well as agreements around:

Positive Intelligence

The Positive Intelligence Program is a 7-week program that helps build a foundation of mental fitness by shifting the balance of power from your inner Saboteurs (your negative self) to your inner Sage (your positive self). This program explores deeply the energies that can derail and sabotage you, while providing practical skillsets and tools to help intercept sabotaging energies.

Enrolling in this program will take you through a series of weekly videos, access to Positive Intelligence Apps including daily focus of attention, coach challenges and a journal to support your personal growth.
